How the estimate is built

Installed price per linear foot of fence × size gives the national range. The labor part of that range ($5–$15 per linear ft) is multiplied by the local labor index. Materials stay at the national price. Remove the old fence is an optional add-on priced at $10–$20 per linear ft, all labor. The methodology has every source and formula.
